During “the British Invasion”, I seem to remember rockers and pop music fans constantly getting into it over who was the better band, the Stones or the Beatles. In those days, it was unimaginable that either would ever be considered irrelevant. Yet, fifty years later, the Beatles most certainly are but the Stones still kick ass. What the hell?! So do they win?
Tough question Ken because when the Beatles first came to America they blew the room away where as the Stones hardly causeed a ripple so they had to build it slowly. I think it was that slow build that kept them from flaming out as the Beatles did.
