The Stones have always dreamed of playing the Blues as well as Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, but luckily for them it always just came out Rock as it had for Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis before them.
Rock & Roll always has paid a hell lot more than the blues ever will because the blues are mostly about the pain caused by the lack of money. If playing the blues paid better they wouldn’t exist.

OTHER ABSTRACT THOUGHTS ABOUT OTHER THINGS…

Swapping the word U for the letter I results in big ratings.

When I got into radio it was so exciting that I disliked weekends because that’s when I got to do what normal people do. Why would I want to do that.

If Santa Claus was booed in Philly, how far behind can the Pope Frank be.

Radio ratings consist of the listening habits of passive people whereas it is programmed and sold by alpha types. Hows that working out for everyone do you suppose.

Seeing as most comedians are left handed maybe I should consider giving this radio thing up and tell more jokes.

I understand that even the most wildly liberal Hollywood people soon become fascists when the bottom line is threatened.

The more you desire the more you shall reap.

You most likely are liked by those you like.

You are who you talk to.

In the 60’s a nice car used to cost less than a 1/3 of your yearly salary now of course they cost more than make in a year.

I must of missed the part where we like the guys who look like the terrorists who took down the twin towers now more than the Israelites.

One should only dream today what he wants tomorrow to look like.

If voting really changed anything I’m sure it would be illegal.

It should take just as much effort to get welfare as it does to get a paycheck.

When the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes switched to Range Rovers that pretty well did the Cadillac Escalade in I would think.

Wouldn’t it be great to watch some TV news that didn’t have an agenda.

It is useless for you to try and solve problems of situations you don’t control.

Being afraid of making a mistake is the biggest mistake of all.

Why do people who suffer from depression always seem to have the biggest and best smiles.

Grasshopper, there are no indicators that tell you that something is gonna turn out wonderful said the Butterfly to the Caterpillar.

Why are intelligent people so full of doubt where as dumb people seem to be full of confidence.

Gifted people need to add a little science to what they do otherwise they will end up penniless like Mozart.

If you want to get noticed at work get in the “it’s my fault” line, the other one is too long.

It takes an emotional experience for anyone to change.

If a woman becomes your whole world and you want to keep her in it you may need to treat her like she is living in heaven.

In order to be happy one must work on the the things that they can control and just forget about the rest. Unfortunately that means you have to ignore women and they don’t take too kindly to that.

Thinking about Angels always gives me a nice warm feeling especially when I’m dreaming about the ones from Victoria’s Secret.

Why does a group of men together always seem to be laughing where a group of women always seem upset about something.

It is said that men on their death bed have two regrets, they didn’t spend enough time with their family and they didn’t make love to all the women they could have.

Fame & Fortune are achieved one at a time.

There are just as many rich people in Mexico as there are in America so how come nobody’s on their ass about why there’s illegal alien situation.

So if the Dolphins can’t even beat f##king Jacksonville just who the f**k are they gonna beat.

Speaking of the Miami Dolphins, why is it that I can remember the names of several quarterbacks for other teams like the Cowboys, Packers, 49rs, and Colts, but I can only remember Dan Marino’s name from the Dolphins and yet he last played 15 years ago.

  1. During “the British Invasion”, I seem to remember rockers and pop music fans constantly getting into it over who was the better band, the Stones or the Beatles. In those days, it was unimaginable that either would ever be considered irrelevant. Yet, fifty years later, the Beatles most certainly are but the Stones still kick ass. What the hell?! So do they win?

    • Tough question Ken because when the Beatles first came to America they blew the room away where as the Stones hardly causeed a ripple so they had to build it slowly. I think it was that slow build that kept them from flaming out as the Beatles did.
