While celebrating my daughter Cami’s 21st birthday a few weeks ago I started thinking about all the adventures and fun we’ve had over the last 21 years but unfortunately with the good comes the bad. One of those scary bad times occurred a couple of years ago when we were flying to San Diego for my birthday party arranged by my daughters. I’d surprised Cami and her friend Brynn by giving them my first class seats while I sat in the back with my friend Linda Duffy.(all pictured above) About an hour into the flight I heard the words you never ever want to hear on a plane at 35,000 feet, “if there is a doctor on board would they please identify themselves.” A short while later I watched as one of flight attendants who appeared to be looking for someone began working her way to the back and when she made eye contact with me she locked on I thought … Oh oh! When finally she got to me she asked me to follow her up to the front where I saw Cami stretched out on the floor. Thankfully there was some sort of a doctor with her who was advising the flight attendants what to do because he suspected that she had a bad reaction to the nuts they served. After about a half hour we got her back to her seat but she was still in terrible shape and I was scared to death. When we landed in Dallas she had to be taken off the plane on a stretcher where we had about 90 minutes before our next flight so she managed to get some sleep. When it came time to board she was a little better but we had to con our way onto the plane because they’d all heard about her incident. She slept most of the way to San Diego and when we finally landed and got off the plane I heard some fantastic words, “Daddy can we get some pizza, I’m starving.”

Speaking of football I think Tony Romo now has the best job in the world, he makes huge money fo just sitting there.
Speaking of the election again it seems to me that it proved how obsolete and out of touch both parties as is the media. Bernie and Trump weren’t from either party and the media had no idea at all that Trump had any chance at winning. In fact, they all looked visibly shocked.
It’s not about what kind of work you should do to make a lot of money it’s about how to make a lot of money without feeling like you’re working.
This just in … Marijauna won more states than did Hillary.

I’m hearing that a lot of black people saying that they would be a lot more vocal about how pissed they were about how little Obama did to help black folks if he wasn’t black.
The amazing thing about my daughters is that they are nothing alike but are very similar to me. My youngest is more like who I used to be and my oldest resembles more who I became.
Suddenly realizing what the next step should be is when change begins.
In order to be insulted, one must value the opinion of the insulter.
