Treating an imperfect woman like she’s perfect tends to lead you to a near-perfect evening.

Why are liberals not against Transgenders competing in female sports?

I’m confused. Is it old, privileged white guys doing all the crime or just causing it?

When the FCC used to grant rebuttal time to opposing views, we heard very few views.

Why don’t we let the Jews and Arabs have at it? The winner takes all.

You can have talent, but it won’t end well if you don’t do the work.

Luckily, unlike minorities, most white males aren’t organized. Can you imagine their wrath if they were?

Un-fucking believable; I’m watching a tennis documentary where a player accuses the referee of calling his shot out because he was black.

It’s hard to respect someone who votes for a particular political party because it’s a family tradition.

A winner is only a loser who gave it another shot.

First, you dream it, then you plan it.

Hey, Nielson, when are you going to teach your PPM device to recognize online listening as part of the regular ratings as they do in Canada?

Speaking of radio, what greatness ever emerged from a cluster?

What I like about white folks is you can call out the bad ones without fear of repercussions.

It’s not what you occasionally do that makes a difference; it’s what you do over and over and over again.

As you’re probably aware, I have three children. Candis and Curtis, who are both still Canadians, live in California.
Camera, who lives with me in Florida while pursuing her master’s in psychology, was born here in Florida.

The weird thing is, Cami is the only one of my kids who is into Hockey and loves the Florida Panthers.
She watches most of the games on TV but also goes to a bunch of them, and whenever the Winnipeg Jets come to town, I go with her.

Recently, she came to me and excitedly said, “Daddy Sam Reinhart is going to be at the Wellington Mall signing stuff, so I’m gonna get him to sign my jersey.” (Sam currently is the second-highest scorer in the NHL)
Knowing Sam was born in Vancouver, I said, “Don’t forget to tell him that your Dad is from Winnipeg and is well aware of Beautiful British Columbia, having owned a home near Kelowna. It may buy you some extra face time.”

When she returned home and proudly showed me her signed jersey, I asked her how he reacted when you told him about your dad.
She said, “Daddy, I was so nervous that when it became my turn to talk to him and to get him to sign my jersey, I froze and didn’t say a thing.”

(On top is a photo of Cami in one of her many Panthers outfits, me in my Jets jersey, and grandson Nathaniel wearing my unsigned Sam jersey at a recent Panther Jets game. Below is a photo of Cami’s signed Sam Reinhart jersey hanging on the wall in her bedroom.)

@WendyHolmes: Smart women marry dumb guys and vice versa because they’re dumb! It isn’t rocket science, Geo!! I had a good chuckle when I read this one-liner! (3/18/24)
Geo: Being dumb is a choice, Wendy.

@BruceWalker: I’d be willing to bet that Katherine was right on the money, not only with any other guy at Swamp Grass Willey’s. What a burden to be carried around. (Yeah, I would)
Geo: Kinda like having records out and fighting off the groupies, huh, Bruce? 🙂

@BruceMunson: “Why, when you’re freaking out, do people ask you if you would like some water?”For reasons unknown, I haven’t experienced this…but hope springs eternal! Geo’s Daily Life-Liners)
Geo: You live a sheltered life. Bruce, I envy you.

I began compiling my bucket list long before there was such a thing. However, only three things were on it: my living in California, cutting a record, and vacationing in Hawaii.

Eventually, I realized them all when I released my first record in 1965, vacationed in Hawaii in 1974, and moved to California in 1981.
Moving to San Diego was a dream come true, and the best part was celebrating my fortieth birthday with a bunch of friends in the Polo Lounge at the Beverley Hills Hotel. Hey, it don’t get much more California than that.

Since then, I’ve added and completed a ton of bucket list items, such as riding the Orient Express, running a marathon, traveling all over the world, skiing at the best Mountains in North America, and traveling by train all over the US and Canada.

Surprisingly, my biggest and best events weren’t even on my bucket list.
The births of my Daughter Candis, my Son Curtis, my Daughter Camera, and my Grandson Nathaniel. Color me a very lucky man.
(On top, Candis and me, next, Curtis and me, and then Nathaniel, me, and Cami.)

@NickAlexander: The thing that Trump doesn’t get is that they hate him more than his policies. Yep!!!!!!! (3/19/24)
Geo: Even though most of the press Trump gets is usually bad, all he cares about is that they spell his name right, and they do.

@CatSimon: Geo, I’m enjoying the daily one-liners. Hope you never stop. (3/19/24.)
Geo: Thanks, Cat; there’s no end in sight so far.

@ChuckKnapp: Great job, Reg. Radio was Facebook before FB.  Live and local. We were in the right place at the right time and made millions for owners who understood radio’s strength. Men like the ones you highlighted in the video knew how all the pieces fit together. (Geo’s Daily Liners)
Geo: Chuck, I remember the day Reg told me that his favorite jock was Chuck Knapp, who was on WLS. I said, “You know him; he was at our cabin on Gull Lake, along with Daryl ‘B’ and Chuck Riley, trying to water ski.” Reg exclaimed, “That’s the same guy?”.

@JamesDuval: The arrogance of the French, as late as the DE Gaulle era while Algeria was still a French colony, has come back to haunt them. If the French had simply allowed the Algerian people to become an independent country with French support and alliances, I do not know if the migration of Arabians would have been as strong as it is today; however, because of birth rate demographics, all of Europe is experiencing an influx of Arab and African people. (2/26/24)
Geo: Yep, Jed, sometimes imagining us all living together in perfect harmony is just a pipe dream.
