What a wonderful Father’s Day!
It all started earlier in the day when my daughter Cami (shown above with me), presented me with a snazzy new shirt. Next, I got a call from my son Curt in San Diego, shortly followed by Father’s Day greetings from his sister Candis who lives in LA.
After trying on my new shirt, it was time to head out to a breakfast place called “First Watch” for a special Father’s Day brunch so I donned my mask and off we went.

Once we were seated at “First Watch” by a masked lady, Cami ordered up scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy and I had the veggie omelet. After we were through gorging ourselves, it was now time to mask up again and head over to the nearby Outlet Mall for a shopping spree.

Cami works at a place there called “Express,” so that’s where we went. Hey, might as well take advantage of her discount, right? Can you say, five more shirts like the one I’m wearing in the photo, and a pair of shorts, all for 50 bucks? Wow!

When we were finally done with our Father’s Day adventure and made our way home, I discovered the following message waiting for me on my Facebook page.

Happy Father’s Day to the legend himself!
The man who carried me until his arms were about to break, who scared away every sales lady during countless dress shoppings, who has so many stories he had to start a blog, who started my love for wine, who makes friends wherever he goes, who is always open to listening and being educated by his liberal political activist daughter, who is so proud of being a dad and will accept anyone as a new “adopted” child.
Love you, thank you for a lifetime of memories.
PS look at him rocking his Father’s Day gift.

(A new Express shirt of course)

GEO’S LIFE-LINERS
I wonder who it was that, unlike the Royals decided that wives get everything?

Action produces results; no action produces absolutely nothing.

Does this sound fair? Paul McCartney is the wealthiest Beatle, next is Yoko (Sean Lennon has to beg her for money), followed by Olivia Harrison, and Ringo bringing up the rear.

I think America is a hell of a lot more prejudice than it is racist.

I wonder if the American stars are bummed by the fact that they’ll be a sir like Sir Paul, Sir Mick, Sir Elton, Sir Rod, and Sir Van?

According to a guy who heads up a SWAT Team in here South Florida, the police are backing off the good and the bad.

Assuming we are all the same could lead to disastrous results.

Bad news travels ten times as fast as good news does.

Is it just me, or does Snopes lean a little left?

Only music can comfortably take you to places where you’ve never been.

You can’t always change things, but you can always change your thinking.

Have you noticed that the only time men answer their phones is in movies?

Counting up never ends, whereas counting down does.

Your attitude determines how well you do what you’re capable of doing.

If you ain’t whimpering, whining, or crying, you’re bragging.

There’s a reason for everything.

At least the sports franchises with Indian names depicted them as strong and brave. When they all disappear, what then?

I find it unbelievable that out of the 360 million people that live in America, the best we can come up with is Trump and Biden? Trump doesn’t listen, and Biden listens too much.

Being for something is a lot harder to do than being against something is.

When the noise finally settles down, I’m thinkin’ that the Hispanics are gonna want their moment in the sun too.

Blind Faith is just that, blind.

Facts change nothing; emotion changes everything.

Stephen Stills claims that it’s because Neil Young never played sports is why he’s left so many bands; he doesn’t understand the team concept.

I wonder who it is that creates our dreams because some of mine are so scary that they wake me up, so I know it ain’t me babe. I’m not that good.

When you come to an ending, find a new beginning. Luck nor magic makes you successful, It’s the hard work that does.

If Trump gets elected after all this, not only will it be amazing, but it could also be the end of the Democratic party as we know it.
